FVC Opens Seed Round to Build a New Decentralised Venture Capital Ecosystem

First Venture Capital is developing a new model for community-governed, interest-free funding of startups and SMEs through blockchain technology.

FVC Seed Round now open. Fund businesses. Share revenues. Govern together.

FVC (First Venture Capital) has officially opened its Seed Round, inviting strategic investors, crypto investors, entrepreneurs and Web3 participants to become involved at an early stage in the development of its decentralised venture capital ecosystem.

FVC is building an infrastructure designed to connect venture capital, decentralised finance (DeFi), blockchain technology and real-world businesses, creating a new way for communities to participate in the funding and governance of emerging companies.

At the centre of the ecosystem is the FVC token, which is designed to provide utility across governance, staking and participation within the developing FVC ecosystem.

The FVC Seed Round Is Now Open

The Seed Round represents an opportunity for early investors to participate in FVC before the wider token sale and future TGE.

FVC is seeking strategic capital to accelerate the development of its technology, infrastructure, community, business-funding activities, partnerships and wider ecosystem.

Seed-round participants will have the opportunity to acquire FVC tokens under early-stage seed-round terms, subject to the applicable allocation, vesting and participation requirements.

The Seed Round is intended for investors and strategic participants who want to become involved while FVC is still at an early stage of development.

A Different Approach to Venture Capital

FVC has been built around a simple principle:

Fund businesses. Share revenues. Govern together.

The ecosystem aims to support startups and SMEs through mechanisms including:

  • Revenue-sharing agreements
  • Treasury-backed grants
  • Strategic community-voted funding
  • Real-world business opportunities
  • Decentralised governance
  • Revenue-backed staking mechanisms

Rather than focusing exclusively on traditional venture capital structures, FVC is developing a blockchain-based ecosystem designed to allow its community to participate in selected funding and governance decisions.

Tokenomics Designed for Long-Term Development

FVC has a proposed fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens, with only 6% planned to be circulating at TGE.

The proposed token model includes:

  • 1 billion fixed maximum supply
  • 6% planned initial circulation at TGE
  • Long-term vesting structures
  • Governance participation
  • USDC-funded staking mechanisms
  • Treasury accumulation
  • Proposed automated buy-and-burn mechanisms

The objective is to develop a token ecosystem connected to the growth of FVC's underlying venture capital infrastructure and revenue-generating activities.

Bringing Venture Capital Into the Real Economy

FVC's vision extends beyond Web3.

The ecosystem intends to support opportunities across startups, SMEs, Web3 ventures and emerging Real World Asset (RWA) infrastructure.

Potential funding structures may include smaller grants as well as larger strategic funding agreements, with selected opportunities subject to the FVC governance framework and applicable due diligence.

Where appropriate, funded businesses may enter revenue-sharing arrangements designed to generate recurring revenues for the wider ecosystem.

This creates a potential link between real-world business activity, venture funding and blockchain-based token utility.

Community-Governed Funding

FVC aims to give its community an active role in the development of the ecosystem.

Planned governance infrastructure includes quadratic voting, allowing token holders to participate in selected ecosystem, treasury and funding decisions as the governance framework develops.

The ambition is to create a model in which capital allocation is not determined solely by a traditional investment committee, but can increasingly involve the wider FVC community.

From Seed Round to Token Generation

The Seed Round represents an important early stage in FVC's development.

Following the seed phase, FVC intends to progress toward its broader token sale and Token Generation Event (TGE) as the ecosystem, infrastructure and funding strategy develop.

Future development stages are expected to include:

  • Continued technology and smart-contract development
  • Multi-signature treasury infrastructure
  • Staking implementation
  • Community governance
  • Venture funding initiatives
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Expansion of the FVC community
  • Wider token distribution
  • Future exchange opportunities
  • Further development of RWA and decentralised funding infrastructure

No fixed exchange timetable is being announced at this stage, allowing FVC to focus on building the underlying ecosystem and reaching the appropriate development and funding milestones first.

Become an Early FVC Participant

FVC is now looking to build relationships with strategic investors, crypto investors, venture capital participants, entrepreneurs and Web3 communities who understand the potential of combining blockchain technology with real-world venture funding.

The Seed Round provides an opportunity to become involved before the wider token sale and TGE, while FVC remains in its early development phase.

For investors interested in the convergence of venture capital, DeFi, tokenisation, governance and real-world businesses, FVC offers an opportunity to follow and participate in the development of an emerging decentralised capital ecosystem.

Big milestone for FVC. Excited to see the Seed Round officially open and watch the ecosystem develop from here.
